The rapidity whereupon the world of computer science are being introduced in the present society, at all the levels, makes its use within the educative system necessary. For that reason, the Center Century XXI, Program of Educative Computer science of the state of Coahuila have elaborated different strategies for the application and implementation from the programs of educative computer science in the scholastic centers and to take with effectiveness and quality the New Technologies to all the involved ones in the educative process, but mainly to affect a transcendental aspect: the formation and concientizaciòn of the educational ones. When speaking of formation of educational, we talked about the processes that they involve to those who are studying to be future professors, to the students in formation like teachers, but also, interests to us to act on the update of educational, which it alludes to the processes who occur through courses, graduates, events, programs, that involve the participation of professors in good condition, or are of basic education, average or normal, or superior. It is why we made the Second Day of Educative Computer science, promoted by the Center Century XXI Educative Computer science whose primary target is the one to constitute a forum of debate of ideas, innovations and applications of the technologies of the information and the actually educative communication. In this ample one and opened space of interchange of ideas, rich in content and diversified in participation it is tried to carry out advances in the construction of knowledge in this area and the concrete applications in the educative scope, for a better and effective use in the different educative institutions as much the elementary level (primary) like in the mean level (secondary) and superior means (preparatory), contributing to a solid educational formation and information for and students. JUSTIFICATION The present technological innovations and the implemented educative policies for the modernization of the National Educative System, have contributed so that the educative centers of Basic Education in the state of Coahuila, are in a permanent process of equipment of technological resources in computer science and communication that they look for to favor the improvement in the quality of the educative process. The tasks of qualification and update of the educational ones on the technical and pedagogical handling of these resources have fallen fundamentally in center Century XXI, Program of Educative Computer science, decentralized Public Organism of the Secretariat of Public Education of the Government of the State of Coahuila (SEPC), that has structured contents, developed material, formed instructors and distributed the courses. Nevertheless, it turns out indispensable to promote events and encounter, destined to favor the interchange of experiences and pedagogical update of the educational ones of the scholastic centers that participate in the programs of educative computer science; convinced of the previous thing, by second consecutive year the Days of Educative Computer science in the city of Tower, Coahuila, main seat of the Center have been organized Century XXI in the Region Lagoon. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DAY OF EDUCATIVE COMPUTER SCIENCE After attending the Symposium the International of Computation in Education 2000, the city of Monterrey, Nvo. Leon, arose the interest to organize events in our state of the same magnitude, nevertheless, convinced that it was necessary to walk, before to begin to run, Days were organized, where conferences, factories and demonstrations of students in coordination with the Center of Teachers of the city of Tower were offered, Coahuila, within the Region Lagoon, one of the five regions in which state Geography for a better service has been divided. This Day it attended a total of 120 teachers to the different events. The idea consisted of organizing every two months the Days of Educative Computer science in each one of the regions. Thus, the Region Lagoon organized the First Informática Days (JIE) in June of 2000. For scholastic cycle 2000 - 2001 the idea was retaken, but it was necessary to improve the made work, was necessary to now involve the training institutions of educational. This way, JIE 2001 were developed in the facilities of the Normal School of Tower located in Stroll of Rosita Not 795 Rustic Colony the Rosita during the days 9 Thursdays 8, Fridays and Saturday 10 of the month of November of 2001, as much in skillful conferences in a schedule of 9:00 to 13:00 hours, in interactive Factories de15: 00 to 19:00 hours and demonstrations of students with the use of the new technologies. In this Day it improved the attendance until completing 215 attending teachers altogether. OBJECTIVES With the accomplishment of the Day of Educative Computer science it is tried: * Propiciar a space of permanent encounter that allows to the interchange of ideas and experiences about the u so de las nuevas tecnologías en el ámbito educativo. * Difundir aquellos programas implementados por el Programa de Informática Educativa que se ajusten a los Contenidos Básicos de los Planes y programas de Estudio de educación Básica. *Promover in the educative community of the region Lagoon the investigation and the development of new modalities of use of the new technologies in the classrooms.
